Jozef Šesták focuses on developing miniaturized liquid chromatography
technology and optical detection for capilary-scale separation
techniques. This includes the development of portable HPLC system and
innovative design of the miniaturized detection flow cells and
detectors.
He received his PhD in Chemistry and Technology
of Environmental Protection from Brno University of Technology, Czech
Republic in 2015, and did his post-doctoral fellowship at the
University of Bern, Switzerland in 2016-2017.
Jozef´s
special skills include programming in LabVIEW and application of 3D
printing in instrumentation development. Jozef cooperates with the
National Institute for NBC protection and the INGOS company.
